All the limelight threw confetti of glitters in his eyes, making him feel rich with his vision turning everything gold around. So mesmerized and addicted he was, simply got stone-blinded to the world where he came from, to the people he belonged. The new world where everything was all glimmery shimmery, to which he fell in love with. He presumed, everything that glitters is gold but forgot the reality holded a “not” to contrary it’s significance.

Days got dragged to months with him under the warmth of the limelight. But the world never keeps you in the same shape ever. It will stretch and push and pull and twist. The world has masks, plenty of them, for its the most capricious thing ever seen. And indeed it was a gloomy day when it whipped on the mask of malignant and snatched his so dear limelight, leaving him in the darkness where he felt colour-blind. His "blindfold of glitters" was now someone else’s crown of fame and pride.

The day gives you hope - fly and run and explore and learn but the night calls you home. At the end of the day, you feel like belonging to someone, somewhere. At the end of the day you need to open your blindfold of glitters before it blinds you for the more beautiful things to admire. At the end of the day there is a night sky with stars embedded in it.

At the end of the day there is me waiting to caress your hair and make you fall asleep.
