5 minutes of a Damien Rice’s song with 3 friends on the terrace watching the full moon and who knew it would be such a vivid memory that even after hundreds of days when I hear the song everything comes back in flashes

One peaceful summer evening of my childhood sitting in the veranda of my old house filled with the aroma of jasmine spent in solitude still gives me the same peace whenever I smell jasmine.

When can something become an everlasting memory we have no idea about it and how amazingly a very little essence of it can bring back the exact moment, exact feeling, exact details of it in front of our open eyes and it feels so surreal as if it’s happening now.

Tricky thing it is, memories. Memories of moments which stay with us forever. No matter if the person is dead or alive, the place is there or not, no matter how much time has changed everything, the memory remains the same so does the feelings tagged with that.

Our lives are incomplete without the ability to capture every moment of now and preserve it forever as memory. The every good, bad, sad, happy memory, memories we want to cherish forever to memories we keep in dark to never reminisce again makes us feel the way we feel about every little thing happening around.

Tricky thing it is, memories. Memories, the grandeur treasure of this small capricious life.
